We want your first visit with Pearl Dentures and Dental Care to go as smoothly as possible. Following these steps prior to your appointment will ensure we have all the necessary information to provide the proper care. Completing the new patient forms on our secure patient portal will save time during your first visit. All we need is your email address when you schedule your appointment and a link will be sent to you. If you cannot complete your forms online, you will need to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to do so using our iPad. We require a thorough medical history, so have a list of current medications, medical conditions, as well as any allergies, plus name and contact number for your doctor(s) handy when you complete the forms.

What to Expect

If you are contacting us the first time for a dental emergency, the process will work a bit differently since our focus will be on treating the immediate need. So don’t be worried if you aren’t a current patient and need our help. We will happily do whatever we can to assist you.

For routine first visits, your oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Panoramic x-rays will be taken of the entire mouth along with a bite-wing x-ray series which is needed for proper diagnosis of decay at the gumline in the rear teeth. If you have recently had these X-rays completed, you are welcome to bring a copy with you, though we may still require that new X-rays be completed.
