Cosmetic Dentistry

Your overall oral health is of prime importance to us. Once we have assessed that your cosmetic concerns are not due to any underlying dental disease, you can choose from a variety of options to give you exactly the type of smile you deserve to feel your best.

Know What You Want

We can craft your perfect smile, but we need to know your likes and dislikes. Flip through magazines or browse online to find photos to show us. Maybe you wish to recreate your smile prior to tooth loss. Bring us photos showing that smile. Also consider how you would answer the following questions.

What do you dislike about the color, size, shape and spacing of your teeth? What do you like?

When you smile, are you happy with how much your teeth show? How about when your mouth is relaxed?

Does the amount of your gums showing bother you? Would you like more or less visible?

Are you looking for the perfect alignment and a bright whiteness of a movie star or would you rather have a natural look with mild color and shape variation?

Here are some of the cosmetic dentistry services we offer. Schedule your appointment today to get started on your smile makeover.

Professionally brighten a faded or discolored smile.

Small chips or cracks can be repaired with bonding to restore their natural shape.

Used for larger chips and cracks as well as reshaping teeth, porcelain veneers are highly realistic.

Why should I whiten my teeth?
Wearing your smile with confidence makes a great impression on others, but best of all, looking good makes you feel good. Maybe you are dating or are on the hunt for a new job. Whitening your teeth just might give you a boost in self-confidence. A special event like a wedding or graduation ceremony could be in your calendar. Whitening will help you look great in front of the camera. You don’t need a specific reason to improve your smile. Just do it for yourself. Call or contact us to discuss what whitening options would work best for you.

Is Zoom Whitening safe?
Only dental professionals have access to Zoom’s powerful, professional-strength whitening treatments and because the whitening process will be monitored by our dental professionals, it is safe and reliable. Your treatments will be individually tailored to fit your needs and goals. This is not a one-size-fits-all approach making it a safer choice for you than over-the-counter treatments.

Does Zoom Whitening really work?
One 45-minute treatment using the “Zoom in” office whitening can brighten your smile up to 8 shades. Depending on your starting point, you may need more whitening or less. There are seven different treatment options available designed to work with varying color shades of yellow, brown or grey to give you a brighter, whiter smile and take into account your unique needs.

Is Zoom Whitening going to take a lot of time and effort?
Not at all. There is a range depending on the results you want. A single 45 minute in-office treatment may give you the results you need. You might want to combine an in-office treatment with a take home product or just use a take-home product alone. Take home products range from 5 to 10 minutes once a day to 2 to 4 hours overnight. Use them for one to two weeks for maximum whitening. It’s easy to find a product that won’t interfere with your daily schedule.

Will my teeth be sensitive?
Maybe you have tried over-the-counter whitening products before and ended up with sensitive, painful teeth. The Zoom Whitening system is designed to greatly reduce or eliminate teeth sensitivity. Only Zoom’s take home products contain two mild desensitizing agents. The intensity setting of the light-activated in-office treatments can be lowered if sensitivity is experienced. You may also be given a protocol to follow before and after treatment to minimize any pain. Though we can’t promise a completely pain-free experience due to each person’s individual pain tolerances, we can say that 99% of patients experience little to no sensitivity.
